Apologies for the silly question but I've just noticed on the bottom of the Paddy Power app there is an option for "Coupons". I've never seen or heard of these before. Can someone please tell me what they are? I've searched the Paddy Power help section but I couldn't find any information on them. Are coupons like the football pools that my dad does?
Hi Jake The coupons you see at the bottom of the Paddy Power app are basically a group of markets with similar betting types all assembled together on a page. This just makes it easier to view prices and place multiple bets across a number of markets from your smartphone. For instance Paddy Power may group all upcoming Premier League matches under one coupon so you can quickly see the odds of a home win, draw or an away win. You can then use this coupon to easily place a bets on one or more markets. In addition Paddy Power also offer a range of multiples and accumulators that can be applied to your selection from their Android app. Jamie PADDY POWER FOOTBALL COUPONS - WWW.PADDYPOWER.COM
I think they're a pretty neat feature and they're one of the reason that I use the Paddy Power app. My only complain is that the coupons currently only cover football betting. It would be great if they expanded this mobile feature to include betting on the London Olympics.
Bet365 offer coupons from their website but not from their iPhone or Android apps which is a real shame because they would have been really useful for the Euro 2012 games.
The Bet365 Android, Windows Phone and iOS smartphone app now also features a Coupons section that allows you to place accumulator bets from your phone on football, tennis, basketball and many other sporting games.
Coupons are basically football pools where you attempt to predict the results of a number of games on a particular game. PaddyPower Mobile has the best football pools section on iOS/Android - http://www.androidbettingapps.com/paddypower-mobile-sports-betting.html
Most of the other major internet bookies like Ladbrokes and William Hill have now also added coupons for most soccer leagues in the UK and Europe.
Cash-Out seems to be the latest craze that bookmakers are pushing via their websites and apps. I don't see the appear but it seems lots of people are tempted to close their bets early.
