The French Open kicks off again at the end of the month so does anyone have recommendations for the best Android or iOS apps for following all the action at Roland Garros?

Also, do Roland Garros offer a 2013 official app? At the moment all I can find is dead links to their 2012 Android and iPhone apps.

We would also recommend the following apps for the French Open Tennis Championship.

BEST APP TO WATCH THE FRENCH OPEN

If you want to watch all the action from Roland Garros, you should download the free FilmOn app. It allows you to watch hundreds of television channels live from the UK, Europe, Asia, United States, Australia, New Zealand and more. As usual the BBC are broadcasting all the action live from Paris so you can watch every game live on your Android, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch thanks to this useful app.

BEST APP FOR SCORES & RESULTS

If you don't have time to watch the French Open live on your Android but you still want to be kept up-to-date on the latest scores and results, the "French Open Tennis Live Scores" app for Android is pretty useful. As the name suggests it offers live scores from the WTA and ATP. There is a tennis community that you can contribute to, it has details on the latest draws and there is a full calendar of upcoming matches. Plus it's free.

BEST APP FOR BETTING ON FRENCH OPEN TENNIS

Paddy Power consistently run the best promotions and money back specials for sporting events. For Roland Garros they are money back if the 1st set goes to a tie-break in any of the men's singles. New mobile users also receive a free £50 bet which might come in useful over the course of the tournament.

    DOWNLOAD PADDY POWER FOR ANDROID

    BEST APP FOR VIDEO REPLAYS

If you're not able to watch all the action live but you'd still like to see highlights on your phone or tablet you should try the official Roland Garros app. It offers video replays of some of the matches plus exclusive interviews. It's also the best app for news, players bios and stats.
