It has come to our attention that many US player at Carbon are waiting over 3 months for Carbon to process their withdrawals. Until Carbon rectify their cashier problems it is best to play at a different mobile poker site.

Ignition Poker are a US-facing sportsbook that was formerly know as Bovada Poker. Due to legal issues Bovada removed poker from their website. Ignition Poker works on mobile and works just as well as Bodog and Bovada Poker.

A few back online poker room Carbon Poker introduced the first United States friendly Texas Hold'em cash game app. Carbon Poker Mobile was web based so it worked on any type of Google Android (Samsung, HTC, Sony Xperia), Apple iOS (iPhone/iPad), Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia) or BlackBerry phone or tablet.

Initially the mobile poker client only offered ring games but we're now glad to report that U.S. poker player can now also take part in Sit & Go tournaments on any type of internet-enabled device. The Android poker app is broken down into 2 main tabs, a "Cash Game" section that offers No Limit Hold'em and Fixed Limit Hold'em ring games and a Sit & Go section where you have the option of heads-up, 6 seater and 9 seater tables. Tournaments can be played at regular speeds but there is also Turbo and Hyper Turbo tournament available for less patient players.

Carbon Poker is part of the Merge Gaming Network so the tables fill up quickly. Carbon welcomes players from any part of the world (including the USA) so if you'd like to give their app a try just visit Carbon Poker or follow these install instructions

This is good news :) I've always found that U.S. facing poker networks had the softest games due to the high percentage of recreational players at their tables. I haven't played poker on my PC since I got a Samsung Galaxy Tab last year so I miss being able to play against soft competition all the time. Now that Carbon have added tournaments I think it's about time I jumped ship from 888 and started playing there.

What kind of new player bonuses do they offer?

They have a pretty decent VIP and new player reward programme. All these promotions are open to mobile as well as online players.
    • Refer a friend who plays for real-money and they'll give you a bonus of $100.
    • Get a 200% initial deposit bonus up to $5K which is about the best you'll get in the industry.
    • There are Sit and Go tournament leaderboards with a $20,000 prize pot to giveaway.
    • Reload bonuses of 75% are on offer to existing customers who want to fund their accounts.
    • If you're new to poker you can also avail of Carbon free poker training program.

Does the Carbon Poker app support multi-tabling? If I'm playing on my Samsung Galaxy Tab I generally prefer to play on 2 or 3 tables simultaneously.

No. You cannot play on more than one table at once using their mobile app. If the pace of the games is too slow for you, they do offer fast fold turbo poker which would speed up the pace of the games.

What about MTT's? Is it just Sit and Go's or is there scheduled tournaments also?

I like the fast that you can also easily switch over to the sports betting section on your phone if you need to place a quick bet on an NFL or NBA game. There's a few decent mobile casino games too if you need a break from playing Texas Hold'em.

I had problems getting Carbon Poker to play on my old Samsung tablet until I read in their FAQ that you HAVE to use Chrome for Android. I was trying to play using Opera. You need Google Chrome 33.o or later and your phone needs to be running Android 4.3 later.

If you're using any kind of a web-app on an Android device I think it is always worth using the latest version of the Chrome browser. Some of the other browsers are great for surfing the web but for gaming you should away opt for Chrome since that's what the mobile software was programmed for and tested on.

I've been waiting over 2 months for Carbon Poker to process my withdrawal. Anyway, I'm looking for a new real money poker site that welcomes United States gamblers. Would anyone recommend Lock Poker or Americas Cardroom?

Lock poker closed down owning US players millions of dollars. I think it's pretty safe to deposit at Americas Cardroom for now but it's never advisable to leave too much money in your player account when dealing with offshore poker rooms.

Poker payers in the United States will soon have a Americas Cardroom real money poker app. The new Americas Cardroom iPhone and Android app will feature both tournaments and cash games.
