The Australian Football League (AFL) and the National Rugby League (NRL) are two of the most popular sporting leagues in Australia. An Australian Telecom company has reached a broadcasting deal with both leagues that allow them to live stream all NRL and AFL matches from the 2017 season for free. What's even better is that you can watch the games from any Android or iPhone data-free.

In addition to live Australian Rules and rugby games, you can watch replays of previous season games anytime you like. The deal also includes tons of other exclusive content like live press conferences and special coverage of events like Charles Brownlow Medal, All Australian, NAB AFL Under 18 Championships and the NAB AFL Draft.

Telstra have developed 18 apps that are specific to many of the major AFL and NRL clubs like the Sydney Swans, Essendon Football Club, Collingwood Football Club and the North Melbourne Club. In addition to live streams, these apps also offer team news, player stats, fixtures and more.

Anyone that has a Telstra mobile plan, including prepaid customers, can watch their favourite team play live on iPad, Android and iPhone at zero cost. The iOS and Android versions of the new Telstra NRL/AFL apps apps are available to download free tom the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
