While Major League Soccer hasn't quiet reached the standard of the English Premier League or the German Bundesliga, it has attracted some pretty big names players from David Beckham (LA Galaxy) to Frank Lampard (New York City).

Personally I'm looking forward to Steven Gerard joining the US football league so I was wondering if there are any apps out there that will allow me to watch games on my Android phone or iPad for free?

If you live in the USA can you still use these apps to watch MLS soccer or will these broadcasts be blocked?

If you are using an iPhone then the App Store versions for either the SkyBet or Bet365 apps in the USA the apps won't launch because of geo-location restrictions. iOS users in the US should install the web-apps onto their phones home screens instead to circumvent these restrictions.

If you use an Android device you shouldn't have any problems watch any of the live sports broadcast by these bookmakers.

Now that Steven Gerrard has started playing for LA Galaxy I've watched a few of the games using the Bet365. Excellent quality streams. The quality of the soccer is not too bad either. Not quiet as good and English or Spanish soccer but still enjoyable.

as the league becomes more popular they'll probably start charging to watch the games live. they've got to pay the wages of these big English and Irish soccer players somehow.

I think Major League Soccer games will remain free to air for the foreseeable future because the soccer franchises are more interested in increasing the popularity of the league in the United States than they are in earning a little bit of revenue from the broadcasting rights.

For $75 dollars you can also buy the MLS Live package that allows you to watch hundreds of extra games on any device.
