I read last week that the first porn movie has been made using Google's wearable technology but I was wondering if any other sports have adopted the technology yet? It would be interesting to see a game from the perspective of a soccer, basketball or tennis player? I'm sure Google must have already asked some golfers if they'd wear them while they play a round.
I think the technology would work great for non contact games like golf. I can't image it would be very safe for rugby or soccer player to get it a bad tackle with a piece of glass strapped to their heads. It would probably be too distracting for tennis players who require ultra quick responses.

The only place I've seen Google Glass being used is at a racecourse track. In this video you can some some guy from Betfair wearing Google Glass. While he's walking around the racetrack he's getting a live feed that is updating him on betting odds, results, jockey changes, non runners and lots of other horse racing stuff. Pretty cool...
You can now buy Google Glass for $500 on eBay even though they cost $1,500 to buy from Google. Many commentators are speculating that Google Glass is finished so we may never see a sports betting app for the wearable device.
Have any professional athletes been spotted wearing an Apple Watch during a match? Since the Apple Watch can monitor health signals like heart rate it would be interesting too how a footballer or basketball players vital signals change throughout a game.
not that i'm aware of. it would be interesting if they wore a watch during a tennis or gold tournament and you were able to see the heart rate of each player in real-time.
