The site was taken offline in mid February because the current software experienced technical and security issues that put the Bitcoin poker room in a "perpetual state of jeopardy". The good news is they believe that none of the their players Bitcoin wallets were compromised and their players are free to withdraw their funds for a limited time period. While other poker rooms like Switch Poker continue to accept the crypto-currency, this is bad news for US-based real money players as Seals With Clubs were the only Bitcoin Android poker site to welcome US players.

Seals With Clubs have relaunched with new software at a brand new domain SwCPoker.eu. According to the reports the ex CEO of SealsWithClubs bought the company and reopened with improved software. The bad news is the new site currently only offers their players a PC Client and there are no mobile options. We've checked their FAQ section and there is no mention of them planning to rerelease their Android poker client.

Switch have virtually no traffic so it's not that huge a loss. They didn't welcome U.S. players either even if they used bitcoin so the whole thing was a little pointless. Player traffic at SealsWithClubs was pretty low also, usually somewhere between 100 and 150 players. They should join a larger poker network to attract more players like BetCoin have done.
Americas Cardroom (who are part of the large US facing Winning Poker Network) will be launching a real money mobile poker app in the near future and they now accept Bitcoin also.

Not yet. A version has been released for Mac but they are still working on an iPhone and Android Americas Cardroom poker app. They haven't given a release date but we expect it in the first half of 2016.
