It has been a pretty rocky year for the Carbon Gaming brand. Last year Carbon poker players and sports bettors had to wait in excess of 4 months to receive payouts following the loss of their primary payment processor. Thanks to the addition of bitcoin as a cashier option, they were able to clear the backlog and things were looking up for CarbonPoker again, or so we thought. Sadly, a few weeks ago the poker room shut their door to new poker players from the United States. Since the majority of their traffic comes from the US, this is a serious blow to the poker room. It is a great shame because they offered the most feature rich real-money poker app for U.S. players. Other major U.S. facing poker sites like Americas Cardroom and BetOnline do not offer a mobile poker option. We are hoping that this latest change to their policy is only temporary and that they will soon be able to start accepting players from the United States again.
