When it comes to mobile gaming, Bet365 tend to be at the forefront. In our opinion, their bookmaker app is easily the best available today, offering live streams of hundreds of sporting events every week. When we got word they were releasing a real money poker app for Android phones and tablets, we got pretty excited because these guys do not develop subpar software. The new mobile poker site is available to play now and here's what we know about it so far...

    BET365 POKER MOBILE - POKER.BET365.COM
    • No download is required. The app can be played straight from your phone or tablets Chrome or Safari browser.
    • The app supports speed poker if regular ring games just aren't exciting enough for you anymore.
    • Sit & Go and freeroll tournaments will be rolled out over the coming weeks.
    • It will be possible to play at Bet365's Premium tables from the app
    • You will be competing against players from the main site so you can expect to compete against thousands of players at any time of the day or night.

We'd love to hear your feedback on this, so please let us know what you like or don't like about the new Bet365 poker app.

Will Bet365 be releasing an apk version or is the plan to stick to HTML5 web versions?

I think the plan initially is to stick to the HTML5 version because it has the widest initial appeal, theoretically it will work on any browser so you can play Bet365 poker on the iPhone, iPad, Android, Blackberry or Windows Phone. They are working on downloadable versions for both Android and iPhone. The iOS version will only be available in certain countries though like the United Kingdom, so for many users the HTML5 version will be the only option.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Note and the Bet365 poker app still doesn't appear to be compatible with Android phones. Does anyone have a workaround for this?

The first thing we would recommend you do is ignore the warning message. Sometimes new poker apps haven't been tested fully yet on every type of mobile operating system so poker rooms add these warning as a waver just to cover themselves. In our experience the poker and casino apps still work pretty well although you may need to resize the browser screen or make a few small similar adjustments.

Since the current Bet365 poker app is compatible with iPhone/Android you should also try downloading the Safari which is the native browser app for all iOS devices.

Android users can download versions of the iOS 7 Safari Browser here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=appinventor.ai_admafumi3.Safari

These are just temporary workarounds that some of you may find useful. It should be remembered that a Bet365 Android poker app is in development and will be available very soon.

Will Bet365 also be releasing poker apps for BlackBerry and Windows Phone devices like the Nokia Lumia, Samsung ATIV S and HTC 8X?

It is unlikely that Bet365 will develop a specific BlackBerry poker app since BlackBerry's popularity is in a sharp decline. The Bet365 poker app is browser based so it will work on any internet-enabled device that has a browser. If you have a Nokia Lumia phone or tablet then all you need to do is browse to the links above to start playing. Since the latest versions have been developed specifically for iOS you may need to adjust your browser a little to get the right proportions. Otherwise you can find a wide selection of real-money apps here in our poker section http://www.androidbettingapps.com/poker.html

Most of these app have been developed using HTML5 so theoretically they should work from any browser so it's still worth trying them on your BlackBerry. You'll probably get a couple of messages saying that the app is only compatible with iOS and Safari but ignore those and see if you can play anyway. I think the biggest problem the developers face is getting the tables and controls to adjust to the various screensizes of each type of device.

We've been informed by Bet365 that a native poker app is currently in development that is specifically for Android devices. This means users of Samsung Galaxy's, HTC or Motorola devices will soon have the choice of either playing from their phones browser or installing the Bet365 poker apk file.

it's been over 6 months since they released the iphone and ipad poker app. i thought they would have released an droid version now given that 70% of the world's smartphone are htc, samsung, motorola or sony xperia etc.

The Bet365 poker app keeps getting better. Their mobile poker site now features multi-tabling so you can play at more than one table simultaneously.

Twister tournaments are a variation of Sit N Go tournaments where you are assigned at random a different jackpot prize pool. Buy-in amounts start at $1 but you can win cash prizes of up to $10,000.
