The PKR 3D app undoubtedly has the best the most advanced mobile poker graphics. The downside is the file size is huge (almost half a gig) and it also uses up a lot of bandwidth to play it. This has put a lot of casual games off downloading the app, which is a great shame because it has some excellent features. The new 2 dimensional features doesn't have the 3D graphics but it comes in a tiny 50Mb file and it offers all the same tournaments and ring games options.
    • Works on Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, HTC, LG, Google Nexus and every other Android device.
    • Ability to search for your friends.
    • Compete in Sit & Go or scheduled (MTT) tournaments.
    • Texas Hold'em cash games or virtual money.
    • $5 no deposit bonus to try the app
PKR does not accept real-money players from the United States.

We've been playing the new PKR 2D app in the office over the past few weeks and we've noticed that it also uses less bandwidth. For this reason, if you are in an area with poor 3G coverage, we would definitely recommend the 2D version over the 3D app. It's far less laggy.

For a full comparison of both versions, you should visit our PKR Mobile review page http://www.androidbettingapps.com/pkr-poker-app-android-and-ios.html

Unfortunately I can't get the PKR install file to work on my Kindle Fire. Is there a version that can be played from my tablets browser that doesn't require an install?

No, I've been waiting for a HTML5 version of their 2D app too but for now they only offer the apk poker app.

PKR are now part of the Microgaming Networks which means more tournaments, larger cash prizes, busier tables and 30% cashback.
