I'm looking for a racing app that has racecards for all the weeks upcoming races. I don't mind paying a small amount for this if I have to? Any ideas?
Hi Spencer You never said where you live? If you are looking for a racing app for United Kingdom and Irish horse racing then I think the obvious choice has to be The Racing Post app. Their racecards are very detailed and include horse-by-horse comments, information on trainers, jockeys, weights, owners’ silks & form figures. They also include their own Racing Post Ratings. The great news is the app is completely free. It's also worth taking a look at the Racing UK Android app. It also provides detailed with information on trainers, jockeys, owners’ silks, latest prices, weight, form plus trainer & jockey form. Racing UK offer a free version of their app but they also have a premium app that cost £10 per month that allows you to watch live streams of every horse race on your Android. If you live in the United States BetOnline.ag have an excellent betting app welcomes U.S. citizens. Their race card covers every thoroughbred and harness race in the U.S. as well as many other meeting in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Their racecard features information on every horses racing form play details on the jockey, silks, trainer and owner. If you DON'T live in the U.S. then the best global bookmaker app is Bet365.com The horse racing section of their app is exceptional. Their mobile racecard is fully interactive, allowing you to quickly get information on every horse, trainer, jockey, race distance, going and the prize money on offer. Independent betting and tips are offered by the Raing Post. You can even set-up a reminder on your phone so that you will receive an alert the next time a fancied horse is about to race. Audio commentary of racing from around the globe is free to listen to and you don't even need an account. Jamie
Thanks a bunch Jamie. I've checked out both The Racing Post and Racing UK apps and they're both excellent. They both have their plus points but I think The Racing Post app just edges for me. Both of them have a strong UK and Irish racing slant? Any good apps out there that cover horse racing the the United States, South Africa, Australia, Germany and France?
For Australian racing results I use an app called 'Australian Race Results" which is pretty good considering it's free. It offer live results from all the key racetracks in Australia. The Racing Post also produced a decent racing app called Racing Victoria that focuses on the Spring Racing Carnival. It's very similar to the main Racing Post android app. It has form guides, expert racing tips, racecards, racing news, videos and a radio stream of every Australian horse race. Again this is a free app.
The NagMe app is a good app for racing form and results. If you have a favorite horse, trainer, jockey or owner you can also set a reminder that will notify you the next time they are running. Best thing about this app is that it is completely free.
When I had an iPhone I used to use the GoRacing app for Irish horse racing information. It was pretty comprehensive. I'm hoping they will release a version for Androids at some point.
If you are looking for details of races and form guides for United States thoroughbred racing, you can't beat the free Equibase app. It's really tons of information on every U.S. racetrack, horse, jockey and trainer https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.equibase.todaysracing&feature=more_from_developer
Hey Luck, yes the Equibase app is really great for U.S. thoroughbred racing. iPhone and iPad users will be glad to hear that they also have an iOS version that can be downloaded for free here https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/equibase-todays-racing/id453573402?mt=8
Probably the Racing Post app. Another good option would be the new horse racing app from "At The Races". Anyone that uses their website knows it packed full of useful horse racing information. The new At The Races app, which is available on both iOS and Android, has an excellent race card and form guide section. Each race cards also offers tips from their in-house betting experts to help you beat the bookies. You can watch a replay of any race broadcast on "At The Races" just minutes after it completes. Full details of the new app are here http://www.attheraces.com/article.aspx?hlid=555919
the racing post app is great for UK and Irish racing but is there an app that covers racetracks in the USA?
For form guides, tips and news on horse racing from Victoria in Australia you should check out this Racing.com app.
