Can Google Now answer sports betting questions like Siri

A friend of mine who has the new iPhone 5 was showing me a cool new feature that comes with the iOS6 upgrade. The Siri personal assistant can now answer a broad range of sporting questions ranging from player stats to latest scores. For instance, if you ask Siri who is going to win the game between the Vikings and the Cardinals; she will tell you the likely winner based on the latest betting lines. You can also ask Siri who is the best pitcher, Roy Halladay or C.C Sabathia, and she will produce both players stats to help you put that argument to bed once and for all.

To be honest I was pretty blown away by this feature. We spent most of the night drunkly asking the phone questions and it almost always had an answer. I'd like to know if Google Now, the Android equivalant does anything similar? My Droid is still running Froyo which does not answer sports betting questions but I'm hoping Ice Cream Sandwich might?

google now can answer basic sports question like "when are the denver broncos playing again?" then it will answer you. if you want to getting information on betting lines or if you ask it "who is going to win between the washington redskins and the new york giants" then it's not as clever as siri.

apple had a few months head start with the whole personal assistant thing so google are still playing catch-up. i'm sure they'll be adding a more sophisticated sports offering in the near future.

Here is an interesting youtube video that compares both Siri and Google Now...

I never used Siri on my iPhone to get betting odds and find out other sports related questions, but now that I own an Apple Watch I use it all the time to get betting lines for upcoming football and basketball games. Having Siri on the wrist is far more useful than in your pocket.

Google Now has improved a lot for sports betting information over the past couple of years. If you search for a specific sporting event or play you will now see the betting odds for that event. At the moment the betting information is taken from VegasInsider.

now that google offers hotel price comparisons it's only a matter of time before they start comparing betting lines too.
