Bovada have taken the decision to stop offering online poker from the Bovada.lv site. Instead they now offer real-money poker to U.S. player at a new site called Ignition Casino.

    DOWNLOAD IGNITION MOBILE: WWW.IGNITIONCASINO.EU

United States poker players may be aware that Bovada released a US friendly real money poker app earlier this year. The first incarnation of this iPhone and Android poker app offered mobile gamers the chance to play Zone Poker on their phones. Zone Poker is basically a fast-fold poker variant similar to Zoom (PokerStars), Full Tilt (Rush Poker) and FastForward (PartyPoker). Bovada have now released an improved version of their poker app that also includes regular Cash Games. You can now play Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi and Omaha Hi/Log ring games on any iPhone, Windows Lumia or Android (HTC, Samsung Galaxy, Sony Xperia, Google Nexus etc.)

Since you won't find real-money gambling apps in either the US version of the iTunes App Store or Google Play markets, Bovada have developed the app to be installed through your phones browser/

I used to love playing at Bodog and Bovada before they banned players from outside Canada and the United States. You can find some really loose play at the lower stakes tables. Hopefully one day I'll be able to play at their mobile poker site again.

i used to play poker using the "seals with clubs" android app because they accepted bitcoin payments but now they've shut down. does bovada accept bitcoin or does anyone know of any other mobile poker sites for united states players where you can deposit with bitcoin?

No, neither Bovada or Bodog process Bitcoin deposit or withdrawals so right now there are currently no Bitcoin mobile poker sites for real money poker players in the US

SealsWithClubs have said that they will rebrand and relaunch under a different domain so stay tuned for news on that.

Bovada have now released an update to both their desktop and mobile software with a range of improvements, including card animations, customisable tables as well as flaming and electrified cards.

Still no scheduled or sit and go tournaments I presume?

Unfortunately neither Bodog nor Bovada currently offer tournaments on iOS or Android. I'm surprised it has taken them this long to add Sit N Go tournaments to be honest. Hopefully we won't have to wait too much longer.

I had to wait over 3 months to receive my last check from Carbon Poker so I'm not going to play there again. Can anyone tell me how long it takes Bovada to process a withdrawal for U.S. players?

Both Bovada and Bodog have very shorts payout periods. Most U.S. based poker players receive their cheques or bank wires within a couple of weeks.

Yeah Bovada is lightening quick for payouts. Only rooms on the Winning Poker Network like Americas Cardroom and Black Chip are faster. Unfortunately, WPN poker rooms do not have any software yet for iOS or Android devices so Bovada is still the best option for mobile poker.

Yes. The Winning Poker Network which is home to Americas Cardroom is currently developing a HTML5-based instant play poker app that should be ready around the middle of 2016.

Why has bovada poker closed? Wasn't it one of the most successful US facing poker networks?

I suspect it had something to do with the Kahnawake Gaming Commission withdrawing gambling licenses from sites that service the US market. Without the legal protection of a gaming license, it was better to move their poker operations to another site.

it's not just the name that has changed. bovada always charged 4% rake but since they rebranded as ignition casino the rake has also changed to 5%.
